We are a family business whose goal is to offer our guests a family friendly accomondation in one of the most beautiful areas of Europe.

In 1905, when the emperor still went to Bad Ischl for his summer retreat, our great-grandfather Anton Eisl built two villas, which he named “Franz-Josef“ and “Elisabeth“ (Sissi) in honor of the imperial couple.

In the 70‘s the “Villa Franz Josef“ was sold and the “Villa Elisabeth“ was run by our family as a bed and breakfast.

Like the monarchy, the building fabric of our house became outdated and decayed over the years. Therefore we have decided to rebuilt it from 2022 till 2023 completely new - but externally in the old style.

So you can expect from November 2023 modern apartments in a traditionally villa, in the look and charm of the imperial era.

Wether winter or summer, nice or bad weather, the “Salzkammergut“ has many attractions ready for you.

In the immediate vicinity of “Villa Elisabeth“ there are numerous possibilities to spend your vacation full of veriety.

In a few minutes walk you can reach the “Wolfgangsee“ with public lido (300 m), restaurants, coffee houses, grocery store, bakery, bank and post office.

In winter you are in the shortest time in the popular cross-country skiing and family ski area on the “Postalm“.

Bad Ischl – Salzkammergut, the European Capital of Culture 2024, is located 10 km from Strobl and hosts almost 100 cultural projects. But also the “Mozartstadt“ Salzburg, with the world famous festivals and it`s many sights is only 45 minutes away by car.
